Grieving the Death of a Child Support Communities
The Compassionate Friends offers “virtual chapters” through an Online Peer-to-Peer Support Community with live chats. This program creates a space for parents, grandparents, and siblings (18 and older) who are grieving the loss of a child to connect and share. These rooms provide support, encouragement, and friendship in a warm, understanding environment. Whether you’re looking for general bereavement support or more specific sessions, you’ll find a community of friends who truly understand what you’re going through.
Virtual Yoga for Grief Support
Yoga for Grief Support blends the comfort of a grief support group with the healing practices of yoga. Through education, support, and connection, along with gentle movement, breathing exercises, and meditation, participants can ease the physical, mental, social, and spiritual effects of grief. The class will be led by Kathy Bang, a retired LISW/Hospice social worker, and Michele Hoffman, a certified yoga therapist in integrative medicine and health.
